Children are an important part of our ministry at Christ Lutheran and we offer many opportunities for them to learn about their Savior, Jesus.
Regular attendance at Sunday School, along with home devotions and family Bible study, will help ensure that the youth of our congregation grow strong in their faith and their love for the Lord.

Sunday School, for children from pre-school through 6th grade, meets weekly from Labor Day to Memorial Day in the downstairs classrooms following the weekly Sunday morning worship service. A teen bible class is also provided for 7th through 12th grade students.
Sunday School instruction, using the Christ-Light® religion curriculum, includes:
- Old Testament Bible lessons
- New Testament Bible lessons
- Devotions and prayers
- Crafts and activities
- Hymns and songs
The Sunday School children also take part in the annual Christmas childrens' service as well as singing God's praises several times a year during Sunday morning worship.

Full and part time Sunday School teachers instruct the children of Christ Lutheran in the truths of God's Word every Sunday. Two to three teachers per level allow the teachers to rotate and/or fill in for each other in the event a substitute is needed.
Our 2009 Sunday School teachers will be:
- Renee Stockowitz, Pre-K and Kindergarten
- Ellen Cerney, grades 1-3
- Jennifer Heisinger, grades 4-6.

Religion Curriculum
Christ-Light is centered on Christ and grounded in God's Word. Lessons are available for children, teens and adults.

A video news magazine for kids featuring:
- Christ-centered service opportunities
- Interviews with Christian lay leaders
- World missions
- WELS schools and programs
Kids Connection is hosted by two energetic WELS teens and is designed for use by Sunday schools.
